Oologize

“The neighbor’s children oologized the nest in the tree in our front yard.” Do you think that means the children spoke kind words about the recently departed birds? Think again. To oologize is to hunt or take the eggs from a nest. Those children don’t seem so sweet now, do they? I’d like to thank @jayhawk100, friend and retired English and math teacher  for suggesting this word. And now it’s time for a confession. When she suggested this word, the first word that came to mind was “eugoogalizer”. Remember Zoolander? Enjoy.
